Angus obtained his double degree in Business Administration (with a major in Accounting) and Law from the University of Hong Kong. Throughout his academic career, he demonstrated a keen interest in the complexities of family law and the ways in which it intersects with finance and business.

Prior to joining Ip & Heathfield in 2018, Angus gained valuable exposure to legal practice through several internship opportunities, including mini-pupillage at barristers’ chambers and a vacation scheme with a reputable law firm in Beijing.

At Ip & Heathfield, Angus is a valued member of the matrimonial law team. He assists in all aspects of family law, including financial and children matters, and contentious and non-contentious matters. He enjoys working with a diverse range of clients, from high net worth individuals and their families to professionals. 

Angus understands the complexities and challenges that come with divorce proceedings and the legal jargon involved, as well as dealing with an uncooperative opposing party. His clients have praised him for his ability to explain complicated matters in a clear and concise manner, helping them to navigate the process with confidence.
